The main objectives of this project are to establish a framework for best environmental practices in offshore CO2 storage and to assess environmental impact of CO2 leakage at decadal - century time scales. Furthermore the project aims to develop innovative monitoring techniques, to assess public acceptance of sub-seabed CO2 storage and to undertake modeling and field studies at existing offshore storage site.
