Project description

Major goals of this application are therefore: validation of the role of the uPA system in alpha herpes virus (PRV) mucosal invasion by various uPA inhibitors. In addition, on the invasion-inhibitory activity will also be tested plasmin inhibitors; research into the mechanism of gE-mediated transport of alpha herpesvirus particles to the basement membrane, and identification of the potential interaction between uPAR (uPA receptorà and gE,. optimization of the human explantenmodel Human nasal respiratory explants in analogy to the porcine nasal respiratory will be cultivated, and can be optimized . Utilizing these explants, it will be verified brightened mechanism of invasion for PRV for the human HSV; tenslotten antiviral agents will be tested with the aid of arranged screening models.
