Project description

Harmful cultural practices are practices performed in the name of tradition, culture or religion, that are damaging for the well-being of people. F.♀.H.C.U.S. (Focal Point on Harmful Cultural Practices)aims to fill the existing gap in the area of knowledge, (medical) care, experience exchange and coordination concerning harmful cultural practices. The centre is actively involved in building knowledge, service delivery and networking in the field of harmful practices like female genital mutilation, forced marriages and honour-based violence.
