Project description

A large part of the structural patrimony in Flanders and South Africa is reaching the end of service life or suffers structural degradation. An adequate assessment of the life-cycle performance of structures is of large importance to safeguard economic and societal developments. Reliability-based technical guidelines for the structural assessment of degrading concrete structures under sustainability constraints need to be developed.
