Project description

TEMPEL develops new materials for temperature-assisted electrolysis hydrogen production, leveraging thermodynamic efficiency gains, combined with more favorable electrode kinetics vs. conventional water electrolysis. It aims at innovation in electrolytes and electrode architecture, and the integration of those into a working cell. Through advanced characterization, we aim at a fundamental understanding of the mechanisms involved.
