Project description
Today, the availability of powerful computational techniques and signal processing algorithms makes it possible to tackle challenges such as moving average disturbances, viscoelastic nonlinearities, dynamic interplay between lungs and cardiovascular dynamics, inter- and intra-breathing variability, etc. The objective of this research proposal is to develop, evaluate and optimize methods for quantifying nonlinear dynamics of the lungs for clinical purposes.
