Project description

The project brings together several internationally renowned research groups (USTL, UGent, GxABT, URCA and ULCO) studying and developing new bio-molecules, and various practical centers and professional associations of farmers (PCBT, PCG and GABNOR). The latter committed to promotion of new cultural practices and integrated agriculture with a reduced consumption of non-organic pesticides to reduce the input of chemical pesticides. Objectives of the project: • Design and production in pre-industrial scale of new phytosanitary biofungiciden for the biological control of diseases in certain vegetables and grains produced in the border region, • Validation of the efficacy and applicability of these products • Promotion and pre-commercialization of these new products through a network of experimental centers and agricultural associations.
