Project description
Clathrin-mediated endocytosis is essential for modulating plasma membrane protein abundance. The ADAPTOR PROTEIN2 COMPLEX and the TPLATE COMPLEX have a prominent role in plant endocytosis. Despite structural similarities, these complexes differ in their appendage domains, which likely function as interaction hubs. This project aims to compare the interactomes of the appendage domains and to characterize novel endocytic players, including regulators of endocytosis.
