By addressing the question “How do lower-level policy termination processes impact higher-level policy termination, and vice versa?”, this PhD -research will fill in an important gap in policy and multi-level governance studies. Ending policy at one governmental level often has significant implications for others. However, policy termination has received little scholarly attention globally, despite its growing relevance in the future.
