Eén van de centrale thema’s binnen de onderzoeksgroep is de in vivo evaluatie en optimalisatie van geneesmiddelen op basis van DNA en RNA voor de behandeling van tumoren bij huisdieren en mensen. Via dit onderzoek hopen we op termijn DNA- of RNA-gebaseerde geneesmiddelen te ontwikkelen die voor de behandeling van tumoren kunnen gebruikt worden.
