Mutant-analyse en expressie-analyse tonen aan dat auxine een belangrijke rol speelt bij nematodeninfectie in planten. De rol van een door de nematode gesecreteerd chorismaat mutase in die auxinebalans zal nagegaan worden en tevens de rol van een door auxine opgereguleerde transcriptiefactor in A. thaliana.
