Projectomschrijving
Via een combinatie van bio-informatica technieken en moleculaire laboratorium technieken zal gepoogd worden om nieuwe niet-coderende RNA-transcripten te identificeren (voornamelijk miRNA's). Daarna zal de invloed van deze miRNA's op de ontwikkeling van ouderdomsziektes zoals kanker en hart- en vaatziektes onderzocht worden.
