The first part of this study investigates the amino acid profile and amino acid digestibility of felids' natural prey diets. The second part is about analyzing changes in the gut microbiota of zoo carnivores under different diets, and trying to develop non-invasive methods for assessing the intestinal health of large zoo carnivores.
