The master of science or aquaculture education and training an international audience of students, researchers and fellows, with recourse to the expertise of Ghent University and renowned international guest lecturers. It is intended, inter alia, a transfer from European knowledge of, and to developing countries, with the finale to duty to promote a sustainable form of aquaculture in the main emerging markets. Besides a multidisciplinary training in various basic disciplines (biology, physiology, ecology, pathology, microbiology, genetics, animal production, nutrition, marketing and management, economics and statistics), the program slightly to specific aquaculture issues.
