Project description

The research aims to analyse and to interpret in their context the poems of pseudo-Hadewijch i.e. the numbers 17 to 29 of the mengeldichten (J. Van Mierlo, 1952). The research focuses on the manuscript tradition, the linguistic en formal aspects of the corpus, the milieu of origin and the identification of the sources in the light of the response they had in the works of Jan van Ruusbroec.
