Binnen dit project werd nagegaan hoe biobased de Vlaamse economie is. De biobased economie, bekeken vanuit het perspectief van de landbouwsector, omvat de toepassing van hernieuwbare, door de landbouwsector geproduceerde grondstoffen voor de vervaardiging van chemische stoffen, biomaterialen, transportbrandstoffen en voor de productie van energie.
