Projectomschrijving

NOD1/2 signaaltransductie wordt streng gereguleerd door de ubiquitylatie van het belangrijkste adapter eiwit RIPK2. MAGED1 kan binden met verschillende E3 ubiquitine ligases die RIPK2 kunnen ubiquityleren. Wij geloven dat MAGED1 de stabiliteit van RIPK2 controleert door zijn ubiquitylatie status te reguleren. MAGED1 is dus mogelijk een nieuw geidentificeerde negatieve regulator van NOD1/2 signaaltransductie.
