Project description
NOD1/2 signaling is strongly regulated by the ubiquitylation of the main adaptor protein RIPK2. MAGED1 binds with several E3 ubiquitin ligases known to ubiquitylate RIPK2. We believe that MAGED1 affects the stability of RIPK2 by regulating its ubiquitylation status. MAGED1 could therefore emerge as a novel negative regulator of NOD1/2 signaling.
