Simultaneously combining cognitive and physical activity (PA) is a promising strategy to prevent cognitive decline in older adults. Most studies examining this have however been conducted in laboratory settings. We however cocreated a cgnitively enriched walking program. This project studies the feasibility and acceptability of the cognitively enriched walking program. Making use of a randomized controlled trial (RCT) the effectiveness of the real-life co-created cognitively enriched walking program is examined on cognitive functioning and PA levels in community-dwelling adults aged ≥65 years.
