The Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC) develops and conducts the Survey of Adult Skills. The large scale, international OECD study measures adults' (16-65) proficiency in key information-processing skills - literacy, numeracy and adaptive problem solving  - and gathers information and data on how adults use their skills at home, at work and in the wider community.
