The funding will be used to allow junior researchers to exploit available interpreting data collected in police contexts, in contexts of international organisations and in training contexts.  The focus in on: 

- cognitive load in interpreters, in particular, the impact of technology on cognitive load and the role cognitive load plays in the learning process of students.

- professionalism in specific interpreting groups and its impact on the quality of interpreting, including interactional patterns.
