Project description

This research sets itself two main goals: 1) (systematically) reviewing police research that was carried out in the last 20 years, with respect to three domains: police strategies, plural policing and accountability in policing; 2) developing a police research network of researchers, working on empirical studies in policing in Anglo-Saxon and Dutch-speaking countries.

This study will be carried out in 4 similar phases for each research domain, mapping quantitative and qualitative empirical police research and the outcome thereof (what works?), and will be published in several international publications.
