Aimed at expanding the chemical tools of drug development, this project investigates new procedures to decorate pharmaceutically relevant motifs. Employing cycloaddition chemistry, high levels of control are obtained while increasing the structural complexity of the final compounds. These derivatives can then aid in improving upon already existing pharmaceutical compounds, or in the development of novel drugs.
