Via biochemische, moleculaire en genetische technieken zullen we de rol bestuderen van het eiwitmetabolisme bij het verouderingsproces bij Caenorhabditis elegans. Hiervoor gebruiken wormen met een verlengde levensduur door mutatie of dietaire restrictie.
