This contract relates to scientific assistance in conducting research into rupture bars at locks with openings in the doors. The contract is divided into two following lots: - Lot 1: Scientific assistance in executing and processing scale trials of breaking beams at locks with openings in the doors This lot includes the execution, processing and analyzing scale trials for a number of configurations of crushing bars at locks with openings in the lock doors. - Lot 2: The implementation of CFD modeling of the flow pattern around crushing bars at locks with openings in the doors and of the flow pattern in a lock chamber Part Assignment 1 of this plot comprises performing CFDsimulaties for a number of configurations which have been examined in the scale model. The results of the CFDmodellering are compared with the results of the scale model tests plot 1. Part Assignment 2 comprises carrying out CFDmodellering of the flow in a lock chamber.
