Projectomschrijving

Een substantieel deel van depressieve patiënten die verbeterd zijn met of zonder behandeling zal opnieuw depressieve episodes doormaken. Hierbij lijkt er sprake van een afname van cognitieve controle in functie van depressieve episodes waardoor emotie-regulatie verminderd. Deze hypothese wordt onderzocht middels cognitief-neurowetenschappelijke technieken. Dit onderzoek zal zich richten op functionele connectiviteit van regio's betrokken bij cognitie-emotie interacties in rust.
