Project description
To what extent is the automated fight against child sexual abuse material (CSAM) affected by surveillance capitalism? By answering this research question, the privatisation of the automated fight against CSAM and its relationship with surveillance capitalism is analysed. Moreover, the effects that may have on democratic principles in our society and on policing, are assessed.
