Projectomschrijving

Het mechanisme dat de verhoogde intramyocitische triglyceridenconcentratie tijdens insulineresistentie en fysieke training kunnen verklaren zijn niet gekend. Een mogelijke verklaring ligt in de expressie van SREBPs. Het doel van deze studie is het effect nagaan van gastric banding en combinatietraining op de expressie van SREBPs en zijn relatie tot IMTG-concentratie in morbiede obese patiënten.
