Projectomschrijving
Research indicated that social cognition problems in autism spectrum disorder are related to difficulties in distinguishing between own and others' motoric actions. I suggest that these difficulties are caused by an aberrant integration of body-related sensory information with information from other senses. This relationship between multisensory integration and social cognition deficit will be examined, using EEG, fMRI and behavioural measurements.
