The study of the hydrogeological framework of Lake Tana basin will mainly focus on the identification and characterization of the aquifer system, hydrodynamic and hydrogeochemical system analysis, evaluation of the groundwater potential of volcanic and alluvial aquifers, and groundwater modeling.
