Project description

There are 3 biological questions in the program. 1. How can different signals work together in the control of cell elongation? 2. In which cell types are these signals primarily acting? 3. What is the action mechanism of ethylene at the level of the cell wall and are these mechanisms modulated by auxin transport? We will tackle these 3 key questions by combinen molecular genetic, physiological and cell biological approaches.
