Projectomschrijving

Diabetes mellitus type 1 wordt gekenmerkt door zowel chronische hyperglycemie als acute glycemische fluctuaties. De rol van deze glycemische variabiliteit (GV) bij de ontwikkeling diabetische complicaties is onderwerp van discussie. In deze studie willen we de relatie tussen GV en autonome functie en vasculaire complicaties, alsook het effect van postprandiaal sporten op deze parameters.
