METACEL aims at the growth of nanoparticles and naowires on planar and patterned substrates, and of conformal nanocoatings on porous or fibrous structures. The consortium consists of an interdisciplinary team of six research groups with expertise in molecular beam epitaxy, atomic layer deposition, electrochemistry, colloid chemistry, mesoporous structures and characterization.
