Hoewel de prognotische waarde van LPL in CLL reeds uitvoerig werd beschreven, werd er nog weinig of geen onderzoek gedaan naar directe functionele of therapeutische implicaties van LPL in CLL. Doel van dit project bestaat er in om de rol van LPL in de pathogenese van CLL op te helderen.
