In this project, surface water and groundwater models are calibrated for the various river basins in East Flanders to support the operational water management carried out by the Province of East Flanders. In addition to these models, a number of scenarios are being developed that should allow more insight into the behaviour of the water system under changing environmental conditions or water management measures. Furthermore, the water demand and the water supply within the province are mapped.
