Hoewel nog beperkt in gebruik bij adolescenten, repetitieve transcraniele magnetische stimulatie (rTMS) is een veilige en op evidentie gebaseerde behandeling voor depressie. Hier zullen we rTMS combineren met beeldvormingstechnieken door computer modellen te gebruiken om hersenmaturiteit te onderzoeken bij gezonde en ‘depressieve’ hersenen. Om zo ook deze behandelingen voor adolescente depressie te optimaliseren.
