Project description
Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) is a safe and evidence-based treatment for depression, however, with a limited use in adolescents thus far. We will combine rTMS with brain imaging techniques using computational models to simulate the effect of TMS on the brain and investigating the differences of mature versus immature/ healthy versus ‘depressed’ brains; optimizing such treatments for adolescent depression.
