ArrayCGH analyse heeft aangetoond dat deleties en/of amplificaties in T-ALL voorkomen in genomische regio's waar bepaalde microRNAs of microRNA clusters gelegen zijn. Een geïntegreerde analyse van microRNA expressieprofilering en arrayCGH analyse (oligo-array specifiek aangerijkt voor genomische regio's met microRNAs en microRNA clusters), will possibly lead to discovery of deletions and/or amplifications in T-ALL through deregulation of these specific microRNAs.
