Project description
The Social State of Flanders is a multi-year research program. The origin lies in the Flemish Parliament asked for two years to create a synthetic analysis and evaluation of the social situation in Flanders. The Flemish Government charged the Research Center of the Flemish Government (SVR) with the coordination of this task. To implement the program SVR is a research network with scientists from Flemish universities and colleges. The Social State of Flanders is the lifestyle of the individual. Seven aspects of the life situation will be discussed: - education and training - work and employment - income and poverty - health care - and living environment - social, civic and political participation - mobility
