Project description
Glycosylation can have a profound effect on the biological and physicochemical properties of a molecule. In this project, glycosylation reactions catalysed by glucansucrase enzymes will be examined and optimized. The most effiicient processes will be scaled up at pilot plant facilities, which will generate enough material for a thorough characterization of the products.
