Projectomschrijving

CT en cCMV kunnen leiden tot levenslange handicaps en foetale of neonatale sterfte. Het doel van dit doctoraatsonderzoek is de volksgezondheidsimpact van beide congenitale infecties in België te achterhalen aan de hand van bestaande databronnen. Dit zal de data genereren die noodzakelijk zijn om de vicieuze cirkel van onderschatting en onderkenning te doorbreken.
