The policy research centre on Culture, Youth & Sports is an interdisciplinary and interuniversity consortium. It aims to support the policy and management cycle of Flemish policy on culture, youth and sport on the basis of scientific research. The main objectives of the Centre is to design and develop a systematic set of policy indicators and to develop survey research in the fields of culture, youth and sports participation. The Department of Sociology at Ghent University coordinates the Centre and the participation survey. In addition, research is carried out in the fields of arts and cultural heritage.
