Project description

FlexWare addresses efficient hardware design for algorithms with massive, low-level parallelism. It targets bioinformatics applications, but applications from other domains will be used for evaluation. The partners will explore several flexible, parallel hardware platforms, that are retargetable and offer sufficient low-level parallelism and develop automated support for discriminating between platforms, extracting application parallelism and mapping it to the platform resources.
