Project description

Green and renewable cyclodextrin MOFs (CD-MOFs) have recently attracted great attention due to their non-toxic, edible, and sustainable characteristics. In this project, we synthesize and characterize macro- and nano-sized core, as well as core-shell, γ-CD-MOFs, and we intend to improve their water stability. Based on dye-encapsulated CD-MOF materials, their optical and sensing applications are further developed.
