Projectomschrijving
Het doel van dit project is om via een geïntegreerde benadering binnen de structurele biologie interdisciplinair onderzoek te verrichten naar de structurele en moleculaire basis van signalisatie complexen die gemedieerd worden door de pro-inflammatoire cytokines IL-23 en IL-12.
Dergelijke moleculaire assemblages liggen aan de basis van zeer omvangrijke inflammatorische aandoeningen zoals psoriasis, reumatoïde arthritis maar ook auto-immuunziektes zoals de ziekte van Crohn.
