Project description
he global cocoa supply is declining due to climate change, diseases, and aging trees, mainly in Africa. The underexploited potential of the Philippine cocoa industry can contribute to Sustainable Development Goals, with 90% of farmers being smallholders. This PhD thesis enhances local cocoa products through sensory optimization, consumer tests, and supply chain analysis.
