Projectomschrijving

Chemo-hydrodynamic instabilities are triggered by auto-catalytic chemical reactions. The appearing instability results in the interface being deformed and fingers being formed. We analyze the interactions when the processes appear in micro-channels this flow mimicks the flow through capilaries in porous media. The non-Newton character of the polymeric fluids will be included.
