Project description
The overall objective of this study is to establish a scientifically based and generally applicable quantitative framework for the environmental adjustment of future sand replenishment. This framework will allow 1) to limit the environmental damage during construction and 2) to accelerate the ecological recovery include reclamation. The present study is based on the module 3 of the long-term vision ecological impact beach nourishment, which offers a modular research strategy for the development of an ecosystem model in order to estimate the effects of beach nourishment à priori and ecologically adjustments.
