Projectomschrijving

Plant-parasitic nematodes cause yield decline in chickpea. Their biodiversity and damage level will be will be investigated in Ethiopia for the first time. Damage thresholds for Meloidogyne spp. on selected chickpea varieties will also be determined. In addition, resistant and susceptible varieties will be identified to guarantee a profitable culture of chickpea in the country.
