The project aims to enhance the implementation of criminal and child protection laws on FGM in the EU, by updating, expanding and disseminating the review of these laws in Europe (through a questionnaire) by building the capacities in FGM law enforcement for professionals in 5EU countries (through workshops) by proposing a framework for FMG laws in the EU (through steering committee meeting and conference) by formulating practical recommendations for an enhanced implementation of these laws and by disseminating recommendations regarding their enforcement (through conference, website and leaflet).
